8 months and 2 weeks

i was mama's guest at her dental picnic.

after the picnic we visited auntie and uncle near thousand oaks.

first trip to hawaii

da-da's movie, ping pong playa, was in the hawaiian international film festival so he invited ma-ma, me, ah-gong and ah-ma too!

it was my first time -- to hawaii, to the beach and to the pool!

at dole pineapple plantation... ma-ma says their pineapple ice cream was delicious! she got seconds!

month 8

i'm a big boy now so ma-ma got me a bigger play pen!

i'm a whopping 20 pounds now and i can stand if i hold onto something!

7 months and 3 weeks

our teacher gave us a string to play with at my baby class at glendale community college. is this what college students do all day?!

i went to sedona and maven's house again. sedona is a nice big sister. she gave me hugs and told me to "suck it" when the pacifier fell out of my mouth!

7 and a half months

it was a busy week after we got back from houston. mama took me to my baby class for the fall but she forgot her camera so no pictures this week.

we went to ava and esme's house for dinner. ava's my future babysitter and tutor!



brandon and jake were there too but please don't hurt my dada, jake!

a day before hurricane ike at (chen) ah-gong and ah-ma's house




look what hurricane ike did to their house. a big tree collapsed onto the roof and made a huge hole in the guest bedroom. ah-gong and ah-ma couldn't sleep in their room anymore because the guest room is right above their room and the rain leaked into their room through the ceiling.

the backyard is even worse than the front. did the weatherman miscalculate? this can't be category 1 hurricane, can it?

we had no power for 2 and a half days so dada cooked with gas on the porch. mama and dada also had to fan me to sleep one of the nights because it was soooo hot and humid. thanks dada and mama... i'll fan you back in the future!

the airports in houston were closed for ~4 days but we finally were able to fly back home to LA.

i enjoyed spending extra time with ah-gongs and ah-mas though. hope the power gets restored and chen ah-gong and ah-ma's house gets fixed soon!
