First solid!

i tried eating something other than mama's milk today... mama's milk plus oatmeal!

not quite used to swallowing yet!

6 months and 3 weeks

i love books!



they're not only good for reading, but they taste pretty good too!




i met a new friend, brandon. he's 2.5 months younger than me!





also met dada's good friend, uncle jeff, and brandon's older brother, jake.
jake talks a lot, in english and mandarin! i hope i can too!

6 months checkup

i went for my 6 months check-up exam 2 weeks later because my doctor was on vacation. he says i'm doing very well and he liked the fishies on my shirt too!

so i am now...
height: 26 and 5/8 inches
weight: 18.5 lbs
head: 17 inches

mama says i'm growing up too fast!

but she likes my new tricks! can you do them?!

6 months and 1 week

dada and i are san antonio spurs fans!

stop trying to tickle me, da-da!

hanging out with great-auntie and uncle alex (he's my uncle even though he's only 12).

i had another playdate with maven. it was rather short since she was sleeping most of the time, but i got a picture with the cuddly doggy again!

ronin says "hey maven, can i hold your hand?"

maven says "um... i'll think about it!"

Olympics-related news

With the onset of the Olympics, restaurants in China have taken dog off of the menu.

But, lucky for Ronin, it's still on the menu here at Calle Fortuna.

month 6

wow.... can't believe our little man is 6 months now! he has grown and changed so much. we took the liberty of celebrating his 6 months with dinner and cake (or muffin i should say!).




jimmy bought cute little muffins for the little guy and he quickly dipped his fingers in the icing as soon as i put it down on his tray. i think there was residual sugar on his hands even after i wiped it off. i have to react faster to his quick hands next time!

5 months and 3 weeks

i think i'm going through a growth spurt... just can't seem to sleep till 7-8am like i used to.





over at my neighbor, bennett's house. he's 4 months older than me and has lots of different big boy toys!




yoga specialist! i've also figured out how to turn on my music mobiles in my crib!





at tatum and reese's first birthday party! happy birthday, ladies!

5 and 1/2 months

ah-gong and ah-ma stopped by again on their way back to houston from taiwan.
